A clear shopping list makes it easier to source the right products, prepare an accurate quote, and keep your USA-to-Ghana order organized. Use this personal shopping checklist for family purchases, individual finds, or a business sourcing request.
1. Build one complete product list
- Include the retailer link, product name, and item code where available.
- Record the exact size, color, quantity, and any model or variant.
- Send a clear photo or screenshot when a link is unavailable.
- Separate essential items from optional additions.
- Say whether alternatives are acceptable; request approval before any substitution.
2. Choose your service and check the minimum
Personal shopping starts at a $250 merchandise subtotal; business shopping starts at $1,000. NM inventory retail requires at least six items and has a 0% service fee. Confirm which products qualify for inventory retail before planning your order.
Personal shopping is charged at 20% on the first $5,000 and 17% on the amount above $5,000. Business shopping is charged at 15% on the first $5,000 and 12% on the amount above $5,000. Use our service fee calculator to estimate the shopping fee.
3. Set a budget for the complete order
- Confirm the merchandise subtotal in USD.
- Review the shopping fee separately.
- Ask for estimated shipping and clarification of any applicable taxes, customs-related costs, or local delivery charges.
- Confirm payment currency and the final agreed total.
For example, a $6,000 personal shopping order has a $1,170 service fee: $1,000 on the first $5,000 plus $170 on the remaining $1,000. Merchandise plus the fee totals $7,170 before shipping and other charges. The same business subtotal has an $870 service fee, giving $6,870 before other charges.
4. Make a business request operationally ready
For resale purchases, use one line per product variant. Record the quantity, quoted unit cost, approved alternative, and person responsible for approval. Keep your agreed quote and payment record together so repeat requests have a clear reference.
- Reconcile quantities against your intended stock list.
- Identify any must-have packaging or product specifications before purchase.
- Review your expected total delivered cost before setting resale prices.
- Assign one contact to approve changes and receive updates.
5. Review and approve before payment
Check the product details, availability, quote, and individual retailer’s return or exchange conditions. Prices can change due to promotions, stock, or exchange rates until the order is confirmed. Full payment is required before shopping starts unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

6. Confirm the Ghana delivery plan
Share your delivery city, recipient name, reachable phone number, and any requested date. International shipping is currently to Ghana only. Air shipments are scheduled for the second and last weekends of each month; this is a departure schedule, not a guaranteed arrival date. Confirm the timing and local delivery arrangements for your order.
7. Track, receive, and reconcile
Keep shopping and packaging updates with your order records. When your package arrives, compare the items and quantities against the confirmed list. If something is incorrect, missing, or damaged, contact us with the order details and clear photographs so the next steps can be discussed under the applicable arrangements.
